FIVE EASY TIPS FOR DETANGLING CURLY HAIR
When it comes to curly hair, getting tangles out isn’t so simple. Here, we’ve compiled a list of 5 quick tips for curly tangled hair and ways to stop those naughty knots before they become a problem.
Tip 1. Hop in the shower

Tip 2. Spot-treat
If you don’t have time for an impromptu shower (which is most of us), and you only have a few tangles, brush out each tangle individually, and then spritz with water. This will help the curl regain its shape without the need for a full wash.
Tip 3. Get to the root of the problem
If you’re dealing with constant tangles, it might be time to adjust your lifestyle. Just a little though. If you’re waking up with tangled hair, try a silk pillowcase or loosely braid your hair at night. If your hair gets tangled after walking to work or school, cover it up with a hood or gently tie it back. If your hair starts snagging as soon as you pick up the blow dryer, opt for an air dry. Little changes can make a big difference to how our hair looks and feels.
Tip 4. Prep with products
Tip 5. Try a trim
Split ends and damaged strands tend to tangle more than healthy hair does, so make sure you’re getting your hair trimmed at least every few months – even if you’re growing it out.
